Hitomi’s nicknames are Strawberry Princess, Hiichan and Pang Hitomi (which means Bread Hitomi).

Conversely, she has a much better tolerance to heat. She had studied for exams at home with ice in her mouth because the air conditioner in her home was broken.
Like Sakura, Nako and Chaeyeon: She is scared of heights.
Unlike Eunbi: She loves innards, especially intestines.
Her special skill is basketball.
In elementary school, she was a cheerleader for 4 years and can do backflips and preform complex routines.
She enjoys watching cooking videos in her spare time.

She is a clockwise spinner as a right-hander, and is good at regaining balance quickly after spinning, unless if she has stomach pains.
She is the only member with very girly and lady-like clothing.

Her favorite Chinese food is Black Bean rice and Stir-fried rice.
Hitomi said that if she were a boy, she would date Yena because she’s funny.
One of her quotes is “I will work so hard to overstep my limit.”
She finally revealed her prescription glasses and eyesight in November 2021. It's -2.5 (250 degrees short-sighted) in both eyes.
Before she returned to Japan, she gained her Korean driver's license, but it is unlikely for her to gain her Japanese license.
She also gained Topik level 5/6 before leaving Japan, a great achievement for someone who only learned Korean for less than 3 years.
When she returned to Japan after IZ*ONE, she became a leader-like figure, even though she became a center. She brought the Korean method of choreography training to Team B.
She is petrified of falling and heights, as such: She holds back a lot for long jumps.
Unlike Eunbi, Hyewon, Chaeyeon, Wonyoung and Yujin: She dislikes drawing and painting.
She is the biggest fan of KARA compared to Sakura and Nako.
During the AKB48 16th Anniversary Team Shuffle in April 2022, Hitomi's concurrent position was transferred from Team B to Team A. After the Team 8 hiatus in April 2023, she fully transferred to Team A before transferring to Regular Members in October after the disbandments of Team A, Team K, Team B and Team 4.
She is the last former IZ*ONE member to graduate from AKB48. On August 30, 2023, Hitomi announced that she would be graduating from AKB48 soon. Her graduation concert, Honda Hitomi Graduation Concert ~Yume to Kibou ni Michita Michi~, was held on January 26,2024, and she graduated after her final theater performance on January 28.
She has a scar down her left leg.
In September 2024, she was announced as the leader of SAY MY NAME. At the time of their debut, all other members were younger than Wonyoung, the youngest member of IZ*ONE. SAY MY NAME's two youngest members are younger than LeeSeo, the youngest member of IVE.
When Shuie joined the group in July 2025, both she and Hitomi were older than Wonyoung, while the remaining members of SAY MY NAME are younger than Shuie (born June 6, 2004) and Wonyoung (born August 31, 2004).
Her representative color changed from peach to yellow in SAY MY NAME.
