Yena is a childhood cancer survivor, she had lymphoma & was told there was no chance of survival but miraculously recovered. Her family wasn’t well-off so her parents had to sell kimbap every morning to be able to pay her hospital bills.
For the same reason, she learn to eat kimbap as a whole log like her parents
She is ex-Polaris/Blockberry Creative trainee, she used to train with LOONA 's HeeJin and HyunJin .
Her parents didn’t want her to become an idol because her brother’s group didn’t do well.
Despite being a bluff for many things, she has proven that she is good at using a hover board, skateboard, long board, bicycle and being a good driver, especially when it comes to reverse parking.
